A shelf, made from walnut, while learning traditional korean carpentry from Kobeomsuk, in Namhansanseong, South Korea. The shape of the self resembles the light silhouette of furniture from the Joseon dynasty.
Whilst attending the class I learned a lot about the art of patience and precision, and how rewarding it is to complete a handcrafted piece yourself.
