Moukka, from the german slang word for music “Mukke”. A modular synthesizer for both amateurs and professionals.
An instrument as flexible as possible to match the idea of the musician with lots of options for customization and adaptation.
Build your own instrument, use pre-sets or customize every little button to create a unique flow for you play!

In order to take on this design project, I first started by learning about music theory and sine waves - which are the core of synthesizers and digital musicmaking. I learned about different types of synthesizers and how they use the sound in an almost mathematical way - so I could come up with designs for the surface of my synthesizer.

In the end I understood, it takes a lot of time to be a good musicmaker, but if you understand the basic “recipe”, anyone can sit down and make a nice tune!
