and their aesthetics.
what potential do they hide?
During my BA I wanted to dive deep into the topic of “sustainable” materials, which ones exsist already, and which material even deserves to call itself so.
I ended up creating a set of sandals, bad and frisbees from the materials I ordered and analyzed. The design features peelsphere, desserto, kuori, filamentum, bananatex, mushroom leather and pinatex.
The starting model was made using oculus rift, to model the shoe as organically as possible.
I 3D printed the sole of the sandal and created various attatchments for the topside of it.
